OK SO.
i was nervous because, after working 7 months as an obit clerk/freelance features writer i had a meeting and finally
WAS OFFERED
A FULL-TIME POSITION
WRITING FEATURES FOUR DAYS A WEEK
AND NEWS REPORTING ONE WHICH MEANS
I FINALLY HAVE A FULL TIME JOB WITH BENEFITS.
lawd lawd lawd. what a journey it’s been. i have never been so happy.
i will not sleep tonight.

when someone over the age of 30 refers to someone as their boyfriend or their girlfriend?
i feel like we need a better word for significant others for people over the age of 30.
boyfriend and girlfriend just don’t cut it for me.
i don’t view myself as a girl anymore, i’m a woman or a lady.
i’d feel weird being any older than 30 and being called a girlfriend, unless it’s in...
i’m really nervous right now.
& i can’t tell you why because i’m afraid i’ll jinx it, but i have to get it out of my system that i’m NERVOUS.
later i’ll be able to confide in you, and hopefully it will be bearing good news and gifs of happy dances.

so i hated today. and mostly this week.
but in the last hour, it ended up becoming like this….
it’s a shame that kesha looks like she was scraped off the floor of a club and rolled through the clearance section of hot topic because her songs are definitely catchy and make me want to dance, despite some of the unnecessary and odd lyrics. (i’m looking at you “i’m pissin’ in the Dom Perignon.”)
